Produces high quality images while keeping exposure to patient "as low as reasonably achievable" (ALARA principle). |
| Qualifications: | - Completion of a formal educational program in Diagnostic Ultrasonography required.
- American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) board certification in OB/GYN or the ability to become board certified within one year of employment.
- Current license with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging.
- Maintains current, active licensure with ARDMS in OB/GYN.
- Ability to complete and maintain certification in Nuchal Translucency through the Fetal Medicine Foundation within 6 months of hire.
- Prior experience as a sonographer with fetal anomalies, high-risk OB and general gynecology imaging in an OB/GYN or Perinatal office or hospital setting required.
